Storyline
Approaching collapse, the nation's economy is quickly eroding. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the book. "Atlas Shrugged" changed my life and I continue to struggle with the principles she wanted to teach us.
The team that attempted adapt this amazing story for the screen had a huge challenge ahead of them. I wanted them to succeed. I wanted the world to learn these truths. Unfortunately, they have failed in all three movies.
Poor direction, editing, casting, acting, and costumes have plagued each movie. There are bright spots in each movie, like the narration in this movie (I would have used a woman like Ayn to tell the story). The effects are good as is the cinematography but these movies needed to be an amazing so that we -- Ayn's fans -- would so love these movies that we would push the rest of the world to watch them. Without our support, they have failed.
The Galt speech showed in this movie, while abbreviated, needs to become a viral video.
